Here's a great little video of the little Alfa doing its thing, this is an edited version the raw footage is also up on the you tube channel For us hopeless tarmac rally tragics Targa Tasmania is our grand final, Bathurst, Christmas day and Mt Everest all rolled into one insane week. Covering over 2000km with over 600km being competitive just getting to the end (particularly in a a couple of 50 year old cars) is an awesome achievement. 2018 saw the Byrne Engineering Alfa's both finish in the top ten and with some fierce competition we missed the podium by only 1 place. Apart from a failed alternator, fixed with our carried replacement, and a cracked exhaust header, welded out the front of a micro-brewery in the middle of Hobart!, the 2 cars ran perfectly and arrived at the finish line in (almost) the same condition they arrived in Launceston, unfortunately after a "few "celebratory beverages at the finish line the same couldn't be said for the crew.....
